Corion Gestational Surrogacy program is offered to all married heterosexual couples that are Indian nationals, as the clinic believes that everyone should be able to enjoy the joy of parenthood. To begin the program, we require you to enroll with us. Once enrolled, we will be able to help you apply to the various authorities for the required certificates to begin your process. The necessary certificates required are as under:

1) Letter of medical indication from the district medical officer

2) 3 years Insurance coverage for your surrogate.

3) Eligibility certificate for your surrogate

4) a court order confirming the custody of your baby born through surrogacy

The team Corion does a thorough evaluation of your surrogate which includes all blood tests, infectious disease screen, psychological evaluation and a physical fitness from a physician .

They are also counseled at the clinic along with their husband regards the entire process prior to induction into the surrogacy program. We prefer that the surrogates are between 23-35 years of age, married, divorced or widows and women who have delivered healthy babies of their own. Thus, we handhold you to make a better choice.

Embryo(s) transferred into the surrogates are either fresh or frozen. The surrogates are encouraged to take care at home post their embryo transfer and through their months of pregnancy and beyond if necessary. They are encouraged to take good nutritious food and stay in a  clean, hygienic accommodation. They are advised to visit the clinic  regularly for the antenatal check ups and  to ensure their medication is taken on time.

It is for this reason that surrogates for patients from Corion are able to deliver healthy babies at term. Additionally, all of them deliver in a multispecialty hospital that has good neonatal facilities. Our success rates with surrogacy have therefore been 50-60% with an abortion rate of 2-3 % only.
